Executive Council

The Meeting Subcommittee is responsible for organizing two meetings each year, an annual general session in the fall that includes a Council meeting and a Section business meeting, and a summer range tour in conjunction with a Council meeting. Additional tours and workshops for professional improvement will be arranged as directed by the Council.

The Awards Subcommittee is constituted to carry out activities relevant to the awards program of the Wyoming Section and International Society in a manner that will provide public recognition of Section members, ranchers, youth and others who have made recognizable contributions to range related resource management.

Committee functions and activities include development or revision of the selection criteria of nominations for each award made by the Wyoming Section. The Committee solicits nominations from within the Section for both Section and International Society Awards.
 

The Budget subcommittee will be responsible for analyzing the budget of the Wyoming Section of the Society for Range Management and make recommendations to the Section for accountable management of funds. It will assist the Council to prioritize and allocate Section funds with proper long-term planning. The Committee will assist in improving the design and accuracy of the budget.
